Mickey Mikeworth has heard the word prosperity defined many ways by clients during her twenty plus years as a highly successful educator and advisor. Is it money? Possessions? A feeling? An attitude? She became intrigued with the many facets of prosperity and began to notice that some people take unique actions that make them very prosperous. The result of Mickey’s research and experience is her dynamic and inspiring new program, The 10 Habits of Prosperity-Minded People, which began a national speaking tour this year.
With humor and heart, Mickey has brought her innovative outlook on prosperity and poverty to thousands of people through speaking, teaching, advising, consulting, and in-the-trenches business experience. She is actively involved in community work, creating opportunity for business owners, job creation, helping women exit poverty and training inner city youth to see wealth differently through coaching and financial education.
Mickey’s primary business is Mikeworth Consulting, a private planning firm whose goal is to guide individuals and businesses toward resource innovation to attract wealth faster and more efficiently. She is often called “The Resource Guru” by her clients for her ability to help them identify fresh approaches to building value in their financial life by putting personal values as the primary driver for decision making. Her ideas are years ahead of trend and change the whole framework of how people view money. As a speaker, her lively, energetic, often humorous speaking style connects with her audience in an intense and personal way. Fun is always an ingredient in her workshops and speaking engagements. Mickey is just plain magnetic.
Mickey was honored as one of the “Top Women in Finance” twice by Finance and Commerce Magazine. Just twelve other women in the history of the award have been so honored. She was voted Best Financial Advisor for Women in the Women’s Press Women’s Choice Awards. Mpls/St. Paul Magazine’s Five Star Wealth Awards rank Mickey in the top 300 Wealth Managers (out of 22,000) in the state of Minnesota. Her work with international mico-lending has been featured in Town and Country Magazine and America’s Best Magazine. Her innovative ideas on Plastic Budgeting have been highlighted on the front page of the business section of the New York Times.
